Rev. jeff obafemi carr’s delightful African children’s folktale, Before The People Came, has delighted audiences and families from coast to coast with it’s unique storytelling, colorful costumes, and groovy music.
Now, the play makes a triumphant return to the east coast (it appeared last year at the Wolftrap Center for The Performing Arts in Vienna, VA) at none other than the Discovery Theatre, the performing arts branch of The Smithsonion. Before The People Came will be presented in the Baird Auditorium of the National Museum of Natural History.
